I earned a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2015 and am also an independent licensed social worker (LISW).
I am experienced in working with adults and adolescents in an individual therapy setting, mentoring programs, group therapy services, community outreach, and social service agencies. I utilize a collaborative style when working with clients to help them increase self-worth, decrease suffering, and improve quality of life.
Clients’ active participation in the work is essential to a successful outcome. This involves identifying issues and changing behaviors, thoughts, and feelings.
I use evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, strength-based and person-centered therapy.
I advocate for and support marginalized identities and provide therapy in a safe, effective, compassionate, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.
I enjoy working with people from many different backgrounds and age ranges and offer in-person or telehealth sessions to meet the client’s needs.
