Developing our sense of self and feeling secure can be disrupted by many environmental factors- societal expectations, social influences, trauma, etc. This process may lead to feeling fear, anxiety, doubt, or shame, which can leave you feeling stuck and unfulfilled. You deserve support that honors all aspects of your lived experience. I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming, body positive, trauma informed, socially conscious, and anti-racist/anti-oppressive oriented therapist.
I am skilled in multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as client-centered therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and ACT. I use these models to help clients discover new thought patterns. Together we can improve your relationships, bring clarity and understanding to your situation, raise self-esteem, and heal past wounds.
My areas of focus are individual work, especially with females 18-40 as they grow into their power as women. I also work with families and couples focusing primarily on increasing communication, fostering hope, and reducing overall blame and negativity within the familial unit.
I strive to foster hope and unconditional positive regard for every client I work with, no matter their story or current situation. I sincerely believe that therapy is a place where your story can be heard and your future re-written. Feel free to reach out if you want to see if I’m the right therapist for you.
